QA was engaged by the building owner to renovate multiple floors of a historic high-rise in downtown San Francisco. The historic nature of the building required sensitive interventions to integrate modern design elements with historic features such as the decorative windows that impacted each floor.

We worked with the ownership and marketing team to develop a full design of the common areas including the building elevator lobbies, a spec suite and market-ready multi-tenant floor. Our project team developed flexible solutions for various market sectors, including technology and professional service firms. The design ideas center on highlighting the historic features of the building, the high ceilings, exposed brick walls and historic base-building elements such as the doors and windows. The floors are currently being built out and the building is almost fully leased after a period of dormancy during COVID.
