Hilaire L. Dufresne, Quezada Architecture
Hil decided to get into Architecture because of a 7th grade shop teacher who piqued his interest in mechanical drawing and geometry, plus an uncle who was an architect. This same uncle gave Hil his first ‘graphic standards’ book, and hired him to work part time at the ripe age of 14. He feels very fortunate to have always known what his path would be. Now an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience under his belt, Hil is excited to join the team at Quezada Architecture. He has a diversified career, resulting in ‘hands-on’ design, estimating, scheduling, and construction experience in a wide range of commercial, institutional, healthcare, high-tech, public works, and industrial projects. He also has a specialty emphasis with Healthcare Facilities under OSHPD jurisdiction, with more than 20 years of experience in this field. When not making sure QAs projects are on track and on budget, Hil can be found taking photographs and shooting videos on the trails in Marin. Ask him nicely, and he’ll cook you an amazing French dinner from his French-Canadian roots.
